Australia joined the Top 5 in the Grand Slam Ranking for the first time ever, in 5th place;
Puerto Rico, the Country of the Year and Miss Universe winner, went from 17th to 16th place, up 1 notch;
Canada, up 3 notches, jumped to the 24th place;
Paraguay, up 6, went from 73rd to 67th place;
Angola also made a significant move: up 10 notches, 86th place;
The best mover of the year was Romania. After placing 2nd in Miss Word, it went 35 notches up, reaching the 93rd place in the Grand Slam Ranking.

And "despacito", little by little, the beautiful island of Puerto Rico kept on growing and rising to the top, after winning the Miss Universe 2006 title with the very sexy Zeleyka Rivera ! With semi-finalists in Miss World and International as well, Puerto Rico topped the globe in 2006, being name Country of the Year for the 3rd time.
Venezuela, the Miss International winner, with beautiful Daniela Giacomo, and with a Miss World semi-finalist, came 2nd, followed by Czech Republic, the Miss World winner, with stunning Tatana Kucharova, in 3rd.
