Mr. Alex Liu, president of Miss Tourism Queen International, spoke to the 92 candidates who are competing for the 2011 title, explaining what will happen at the final event.
After the parade of nations, the top 20 candidates with the highest marks from the pre-judging event, will advance to the quarter-finals. Then a top 10 will be picked, and finally a top 5. A same question will be asked to all finalists, and the judges will select the new Miss Tourism Queen International.
The winner will win USD 20,000 in cash, a crown worth USD 20,000, plus many other gifts.
Mr. Liu also officially introduced all the staff members to the 92 competing beauties.
Miss Tourism Queen 2011 final will take place on December 27, in Xi’an, China.
