Miss Universe Albania 2011 took place June 10th in Tirana, with the broadcast taking place on KlanTV on June 11th. The winner was 24-year old Xhesika Berberi,who was crowned by Miss Universe Kosovo 2008 Zana Krasniqi (photo).
Xhesika, who stands 1.72 m tall, will represent her country in Miss Universe 2011, in São Paulo, Brazil, on September 12.

As of now, I still have Kosovo ahead of her but with proper styling and fierce moves on the catwalk, Albania could very well give the others a run for their money and avenge Martini’s nonsensical exclusion from Top 5 last year!

Vista Girl, MU got in trouble because of this. During 2 years they held casting with Albanian models in NY. Hasna Xhukici and Angela Martini. No one knew who they were until they were published on MUO website. There was no pageant and they never won any pageants. And they were chosen in the USA. Directors found out and that is why Albania was forced to hold a pageant this year.
Why was she crowned by Miss Kosovo 2008 and not for Miss Albania 2010?
Angela Martini does not live in Albania and she probably was too busy or didnt want to be there. Her recent scandals with Kanye West and her photos with her hoohaa on the air with a gown were enough, maybe she wanted to be out of the public eye.
Martini did not win the pageant anyway.. she was handpicked last year in NEw York

Not pretty… looks nice as a model, but doesn’t smile (probably has yellow vampire teeth), and she is short!! In other forums they claim she is 1.80 m while in here you can see CLEARLY she is shorter than Zana Krasniqi who is a bathtub plug!! she can’t be taller than 170 cm

DE acuerdo Rozanna y Angela son superlativas ellas debieron de haber disputado la corona de miss Universo al final…pero Albania ya ha enviado muchas reinas a Miss Universo y es injusto que solo hayan quedado en tres oprtunidades como semifinalistas…de pronto la albanesa menos pensada da la sorpresa…como el caso de Croacia que ha enviado mujeres bellisimas y una de las menos agraciadas es la que mas lejos ha llegado…hay que mirar el trabajo de preparacion que hace la nueva Miss Albania de mano del fotografo de Miss Universo, a lo mejor da resultado, esperar a ver…se ve algo envejecida al bella Zana la inolvidable Miss Kosovo de 2008
