Ana Cecília Cunha (3rd), Juceila Bueno (1st), Mariane Silvestre (3rd)
Television presenter Juceila Bueno, Miss Rio Grande do Sul, is the new Miss World Brazil. She edged out 33 other candidates in an event held at Hotel do Frade, in Angra dos Reis. Juceila is 1.80 m-tall, and 22 y/o. She hails from the city of Vera Cruz.
The 1st runner-up was Miss Sergipe, Mariane Silvestre, who will represent Brazil in Miss Supranational 2011; the 2nd runner-up was Miss São Paulo, Ana Cecília Cunha, who will compete in Miss Global Beauty, in Korea.
The new Miss Brazil will compete with 120 other candidates for the title Miss World in London, on November 6.

I think Miss Bueno is lovely. I picked Miss Sergipe from the start as a co favorite with a little edge to her over the other co favorite largely because I think she has more of a world standard of beauty/model look to her. I did not see the pageant so she may have been lifeless and no stage presence or couldn’t answer questions. Only someone who watched may know. Miss Cunha was not even on my radar. I take nothing from her or Miss Bueno because I think they both look lovely and have a sweet smile. I just don’t see either one looking like a beauty queen/model type favored by so many pageants. To me they are both lovely girl next door type women. I think if I can pinpoint what the Brazilian pageants seem to be about, its that they look for a person who looks like a true Brazilian lovely woman who represents their culture while other countries and pageants for that matter look for a Brazilian sexy model type like a Giselle or Adriana.
She’s not that beautiful ! I’m sorry , but the dream of bringing the Miss World crown to Brazil will have to be delayed. Maybe next year.
preferia a segunda colocada, mas a ganhadora tem um bom corpo, mas o rosto não ajuda muito digamos que ela faz o requisito do Miss Mundo ,ela é a cara da miss venezuela que ficou em 3° no miss mundo 2010 ,acho que a brasileiro é preparada como o nível do miss mundo é fraco consegue de boa um top 5.
Mariane Silvestre is prettier. She reminds me of Samantha Tajik, Miss Universe Canada 2008.
shes pretty…but i dont think she is miss world material..more so miss universe material..
Miss Sergipe looks so much better. The winner has a great body but facially does not look very fresh and that is essential to become Miss World
