17-year old Beatriz Ochoa, representing Choloma, was crowned Miss Honduras World 2011 during a ceremony held at the Colegio de Ingenieros Civiles in San Pedro Sula on August 5th. Beatriz will now represent the country at the Miss World 2011 pageant to be held in London’s Earls Court on November 6th.
The 1st runner-up was Miss Olancho (Maria Fernanda Hernandez) and the 2nd runner-u was Miss La Ceiba (Marla Escobar). 22 contestants competed in the event.

Three beauty queens attended the event as special guests and judges: Hannely Quintero (Miss World Venezuela 2008 and Miss Intercontinental), Nadege Herrera (Miss World Panama 2009 and Top 7 finalist in Miss World) and Leah Marville (Miss Barbados 2009 and current organizer of Miss Barbados)
Clarification Beatriz is Miss Honduras Belleza Nacional who will represent us in Miss World and Keilyn Gomez is Miss Universe Honduras. There are two different organizations.
Nadege Herrera is STUNNING the best Miss Panama World ever!
I still can’t believe Leah failed to place in Miss World 2009, and I’m glad she is the current organizer of Miss Barbados. Plus, Hannely and Nadege were stunning as always. The winner is very sweet and I quite like her a lot. Good luck!!!
Beatriz’s official title is Senorita Honduras 2011 (Miss Honduras). She is the winner of the national pageant.
