As Miss Earth 2011 continues in the Philippines, some candidates received special awards with curious (funny) names, and they are:
-Switzerland: Miss Cute Face
-Ukraine: Tarlac Tourism
-Philippines: Miss Stars Scene
-Korea: Miss Fashion Week
-Venezuela: Miss Natural and Best Hair

Switzerland is most beautiful contestant and let’s hope she wins and becomes the second european woman to win since the first one was denmark in 2001 and lets hope ten years later we get our second. she so adorable and will make a good winner. all the best for switzeland.
pathetic people who cannot recognize the beauty of Gods creation…thats why it is being called “special award” because this award is given for those candidate who has the special character that suite for their personality..haaaysss…i think if you will be the candidate and you will be received that kind of award you will be happy and feel special too..atleast you are being recognize….all i can say is have fun and enjoy each day of the pageant with smile on your face….God bless to all the candidate…
These are not major special awards. Since the girls were divided in different provinces in the Philippines, the local organizers/sponsors decided to give these awards for fun. And though they sound funny, it is good to know that deserving girls were considered for these special prize=)
those awards are given by sponsors and has no bearing with the main competition. These events were held in the provinces, people pay to watch the show so i guess they are having fun with those funny titles.
People GET OVER IT …Not all the girls that represent Venezuela have some work done… Many candidates from other countries have surgery work done too and NODODY POINT ANY FINGERS at them….
VENEZUELA is a beautiful girl and like it or not will do a good work representing our Country.

Miss Natural face should be Sweden or any other girls who are closer to her. Venezuela has surgery. The judges or local officials should have been more diligent in giving special awards. Take a look at Venezuela in the Miss Venezuela pageant as compare to her look now at Miss Earth you will see not a slight but big difference.

I just did and no…I don’t see any drastic difference other than her hair and styling; it’s the same fresh, beautiful face she had last year at Miss Venezuela and then when she won the Hispanic American Queen crown. I get it, you have your candidate, you’re rooting for Sweden, but it’s pathetic you need to try to put other girls down in trying to support your candidate. I don’t get why some pageant fans love to say nasty, unfounded things about Venezuelan candidates; not that they care though; they’re too busy performing extremely well

these are special awards from SPONSORS and not from MEO, for God’s sake…just for the group who went to tarlac…give ME a break, at least the girls get to be recognized…and venezuela didn’t win miss natural…it’s miss nature’s beauty, probably a sponsor’s name…geez…

This award were given to one group only. The girls are divided into 4 groups. All of these awards are sponsors awards and has no bearing with the actual competition.

Every country grooms their girls before sending them to pageants(The very anti-Venezuela Lupita Jones herself had TWO nose-jobs before going to MU and accepts her girls usually have cosmetic surgery); the only difference is Venezuela’s national director is open about it and not a self-righteous hypocrite like most. CONGRATULATIONS!…These Special Awards were given by the local Officials of the Region or Municipality that this group of candidates visited. M.E. candidates were devided into several groups & send to visit different regions & cities of the Philippines…so, these Special Awards has nothing to do w/ the main competition!.
Seeing the videos & pictures,it looks like the girls are enjoying the Filipino hospitality,and having fun!….GOODLUCK & BUENA SUERTE to all the ME candidates!…MABUHAY!….
