Miss Slovakia finalists get ready for the pageant finals in Medieval castle

Miss Slovakia 2012 finalists

The twelve delegates who will soon fight for the title of Miss Slovakia 2012 are busy preparing for one of the most important days in their lives. They’ve recently been to a medieval castle in Liptovsky where they got a chance not only to appreciate the beauty and history of the place, but also to get to know the other contestants better and get prepared for the competition.

They’ve enjoyed a five-day training camp getting tips, media training, and having photos taken.

The girls were supervised and coached by Miss Slovakia 2006 Magdalena Sally. “In the  Grand Castle the contestants have been warmly welcomed, but they have already started to work hard to achieve their goals. Focus is a key word here”, she said. The Miss Slovakia finalists also had moments to relax and have fun.

They got walking and runway training from choreographer Peter Varady, and also received special media training by Catherine Safarikova. “They were also coached on breathing exercises, stage presence, voice and speech skills, presentation tips and contact with the media”, explained the PR manager for the pageant.

The pageant will happen on April 27, and will be telecast by TV JOJ. The winner will compete in Miss World 2012 and the 1st runner-up in Miss International 2012.

Do you post information about little known countries or smaller countries having beauty pageants next month or later. Any update on some countries hosting national pageants in 2012?

The photo tag says “Miss U Slovakia finalists” – you may want to change this :)
Also, the finalists for Femina Miss India have been announced, and the finals are expected to be held on March 29, 2012 — you may want to add this to the pageant calender.
