Vanya Mishra with Miss World Ivian Sarcos
Vanya Mishra, from Chandigarh, a 19-year old student at PEC University of Technology was crowned Femina Miss India 2012 during an event held in Mumbai on March 30th. Vanya stands 171 cm tall and will represent India at the Miss World 2012 pageant in Ordos, China, in August.
Prachi Mishrwa was crowned Femina Miss India Earth, and Rochelle Rao was crowned Femina Miss India International. They will compete in the Miss Earth and Miss International 2012 pageants respectively.

Sana Khan and Ipsita Pati completed the Top 5 finalists.
Ipsita Pati was the winner of the online poll, Vidhi Bhardwaj won the Beauty with a Purpose award.
20 contestants competed in the 49th edition of Femina Miss India. The evening was graced by Julia Morley, Chairperson of the Miss World Organisation and reigning Miss World Ivian Lunasol Sarcos Colimenares.

Ipsita Pati was gorgeous and intelligent as well. Vanya is pretty and i’m sure she has the spark in her, that’s the reason she is crowned. We really can’t degrade her by saying that ” she is not a MISS WORLD material” because people felt the same with Yukta Mookhey..and she won…Hope Vanya makes us proud. I’m sure she will.
I THINK IVIAN SARCOS IS THE MOST BEAUTIFUL WOMAN IN THE WORLD .THATS THE REASON WHY SHE HAS BEEN CROWNED AS MISS WORLD .I LOVE HER
