Miss Ecuador 2012 is Carolina Aguirre (El Universo)
Carolina Aguirre, a 19-year old university student from Guayaquil, was crowned Miss Ecuador 2012 during an event held at the Puerto Marina Yacht Club in La Libertad on March 16th.
Aguirre stands 177 cm in height and also won the awards of Miss Cielo and Rostro Yanbal. She will represent her country during the Miss Universe 2012 pageant to be held in December.
Miss Ecuador World 2012
Crowned Miss World Ecuador is Cipriana Correia Macias, from Esmeraldas. She is 21 years old, stands 173 cm tall, and will compete in the 62nd Miss World competition to be held in Ordos, Inner Mongolia, China, in August.
Miss Ecuador International is 20-year old Tatiana Loor Hidalgo from Santo Domingo de los Tsachilas. She will travel to Chengdu, China, to the Miss International competition in November.

Tatiana Chele, Nicole Cevallos and Sulay Castillo completed the top 6 finalists. They will represent Ecuador in the Miss Supranational, Reina Hispanoamericana and Miss Atlantico Internacional competitions.
Aguirre wins the crown, designed by Daniella Kronfle, valued at USD 30,000
18 women competed in the annual contest, televised live by Gama TV.

Carolina Aguirre, Miss Ecuador 2012, es sencilla y tiene belleza natural. Belleza facial y corporal. La mayoria de las candidatas a Miss Universo van con los melones o globos en frente; se someten a cirugias y muchas de ellas ganan. Los jueces deberian darle los mejores puntajes a las chicas que van al natural. No es justo que compitan las que van al natural con las ya operadas con cirugias. Por ejemplo, mexicanas, colombianas, dominicanas, peruanas, y de otros paises.
Carolina Aguirre es linda, sencilla, con valores familiares y morales. Ademas habla dos idiomas, es culta y educada. Esperamos que los jueces consideren las cualidades que sobrepujen lo ordinario y vulgar de muchas de las candidatas como vimos el ano pasado.
La que representa al planeta deberia ser una mujer que tengan las cualidades que tiene Carolina.

I think the best Latin Carolina for this edition of MU, is beautiful reminds me of Laura Elizondo Miss Mexico 2005, but Carolina is better, Ecuador is very strong this year.

Actually she is totally natural, you can look up for pics from her childhood and find out she has the same face, also she has not even got breast implants, I invite you to look up for her pictures and see for yourself, the pics from the election night are never representative of the real beauty of the girl (they are all made up for tv and stage). She has a gorgeous voice.
I love Carolina and Cipriana, they are just beautiful and smart girls, but nothing about the third one, Sulay there must be in her place for sure !!!

Wow. Great choice for MU. Now she is tough competition for all the other latinas. She is the most beautuful latina for MU. Ecuador won miss ME & MI last year, this year Ecuador might win MU. To all fans of Miss Ecuador i say that the show was gr8 bcoz all the girls chosen were beautiful.

From that pic, Caroline (Universe) looks a bit like Thalia. While Cipriana (World) somewhat reminds me of a better looking version of Sofia Vergara with a bit of Monica Bellucci. All in all, a set of great delegates for MU and MW.
