Miss World: Thank you, India!

Sarcos at the Gateway of India

On her recent trip to India, Miss World 2011 Ivian Lunasol Sarcos Colmenares visited the Tata Memorial hospital in Mumbai and spent time interacting with women fighting cancer. Sarcos showed the city she’s a ‘beauty with a purpose’ when she had a heart-to-heart with women fighting cancer on her visit on Wednesday. The hospital is the national comprehensive cancer centre for the prevention, treatment, education and research in the deadly disease.

The Venezuelan beauty took in the sights and sounds of Mumbai at the most obvious starting point for any tour of the city -- The Gateway of India. Locals and tourists visiting the striking yellow basalt heritage structure were in for a surprise when they spotted the equally beautiful Venezuelan, dressed in classic monochrome and colour block stilettos -- marvelling at its architecture.

After the Femina Miss India contest, Sarcos and Mrs. Julia Morley jetted back to Europe for the next Miss World mission. Times of India

I think we have lost it…. i mean the CHARM! I’m waiting to see a MISS WORLD, Vanya is pretty but she misses the spark which Aishwarya Rai, Diana Hayden, Yukta Mookhey and Priyanka Chopra had. Prchi is good she can make to the TOP 5, I personally wanted Ipsita Pati or Erica Fernandes to win the Crown. But its ok….

  2. just been vid her at tata memorial for few minutes, she is damn gorgeous and generous..

  3. stuning! sweet girl!! she adapt to any situation congrats Venezuela to send this amazing girl to the world

  4. Compare this to Ximena Navarrete’s awful reaction to India. HUGE DIFFERENCE and the right PR move by MWO.

  5. MW Ivian is so beautiful. My own indian girls look all 3 so ugly as they stand next to her. mW looks so elegant better then the indian in her royal blue saree. She deserved to win MW 2011.
