The International Cultural Association (ICA) announced on press conference held on April 23, that the 2012 Miss International beauty competition will be held in Okinawa (Japan) in October.
Maria Fernanda Cornejo from Ecuador (Miss International 2011), Anagabriela Espinoza from Mexico (Miss International 2009), Alejandra Andreu (Miss International 2008) appeared at the press conference event.
It is the first time since 2007 that the pageant will be held in Japan. In 2008 was held in Macau, and from 2009 to 2011 it took place in Chengdu, China.
2011 Winners: Mongolia, Ecuador, Venezuela, Panama and Puerto Rico

Maria Fernanda has been always gorgeous since she started as a model at 16. She was the big winner during all the contest & the last night too. Those pics with the crown and the royal robe make anyone looks old fashion however that MissInt decoration seems a fairy tale. You should look at Ma. Fernanda fashion & casual pics. She is amazing & all “natural”. She is this year the best grand slam beauty! The only thing she has against her is that comes from a small country with little advertising! That’s how this business is, if you do not publish you do not sell!

It’s impossible that they invited Ana in 2009 if she won Miss Int at the end of the year? I think she has been there in 10-11 & 12 and this is the way Miss Int Org works. They invited past winners from 3 or 4 year ago, Alejandra is from 2008. She had a excuse for don’t come last year and this year Elizabeth had the excuse. Miss Int Org announced early that 08-09-10 & 11 winners would come but Elizabeth could not.I think Anna has never miss an invitation because she has been able to come allways.

Now that MI is back to Japan, Philippines has a big chance of winning. Philippines won’t win in Japan because of the current crisis between China and Philippines regarding the Spratly Islands

No, that special honor is reserved for the Miss Universe crown. At least this one is distinctive, and is actually modeled on the English sovereign crown

Le falta mas potencial a este evento, la corona esta feita y esa capa que les ponen esta muy pasada en el pasado, seria bueno medernizarlo este evento, tiene mujeres hermoaas, ojala que no cojan el paso de miss universo de aceptar hombres trasformados en supuestas mujeres.
