Miss Universe Amapá 2012
Manoella Deschamps, a model from Florianópolis, was crowned Miss Universe Santa Catarina 2012. The pageant happened in Itajaí and had as runner-ups the representatives of Balneário Camboriú (1st runner-up) and Caçador (2nd runner-up).
Meanwhile, the state of Amapá had Vanessa Pereira, from Serra do Navio, crowned Miss Universe Amapá 2012. Pereira won the “Beleza na Comunidade” (Beauty in the Slum) national pageant in 2009.
Both will compete in Miss Universe Brazil 2012, probably in September.
Miss World Atol das Rocas 2013
Model Viviane di Domenico, 23, 1.76 m-tall, was announced as the representative of the tropical paradise of Atol das Rocas in Miss World Brazil 2013. The 2013 Miss World Brazil contest will happen at the magnificent Portobello Resort & Safari, in Mangaratiba, Rio de Janeiro.

Vanessa Pereira was crowned Miss Universe Amapá 2012; Danielle Knidel (1st runner-up in “Beleza na Comunidade – Beauty in the Slum” was crowned Miss Universe Acre 2011 and placed 2nd runner-up in Miss Universe Brazil. Only thing missing Taísa dos Santos (2nd runner-up) to be crowned Miss Universe São Paulo!!!
Some other state and island winners are being published here in GB but how about the US state winners, I don’t see much of them in here. Why is like that?
If they send us photos and releases, or if we come across such info, GB will gladly publish anything related to Miss USA and its state pageants.
The Miss World Brazil delegates for the 2013 edition are amazing. I think this is by several miles, the strongest group I have ever seen for any contest in Brazil.
