23-year old Shristi Shrestha, from Chitwan, was crowned Miss Nepal 2012 at the conclusion of the annual event held at the Hotel Del Annapurna in Kathmandu on May 6th. Shristi, 1.76 m tall, will represent Nepal at the Miss World 2012 contest in Ordos, China, in August.
Crowned as Miss Nepal International 2012 was Subekchya Khadka, from Lalitpur. The 19-year old stands 1.68 m tall and will compete in the Miss International competition in Okinawa, Japan, in October.
Miss Nepal Earth 2012 is 20-year old Nagma Shrestha, from Kathmandu. She is 1.78 m tall and will compete in the Miss Earth finals to be held in Indonesia, also in October. Bandana Tandukar and Neelam Chand completed the Top 5. The pageant was streamed live through NTV Online.

Hopes are high for Miss Nepals this year…Nepal is expecting crown for Miss World and Miss Earth,Miss International Nepal might be little out of league for international pageant, but she has pretty face that can help her. I was expecting Neelam Chand for Miss International ..but she failed to be placed at top 3..
