24-year old Egni Eckert was crowned Miss Universe Paraguay 2012 during an event held at the Sheraton Hotel in Asuncion on May 18th.
Egny stands 183 cm in height and represented the country in the Miss World 2010 contest. She will compete in the Miss Universe 2012 pageant to be held in December.
Elected Miss World Paraguay 2012 is Fiorella Migliore, a former Miss Italia nel Mondo (2008). She is 23 years old and stands 172 cm in height, and will travel to China to participate in the 62nd Miss World pageant in August.
Nicole Huber, a former Miss World Paraguay (2011) will represent the country in the Miss International 2012 competition to take place in Okinawa, Japan, in October.
Alexandra Fretes was chosen as Miss Earth Paraguay for the second time (she won the title in 2011 but was unable to travel to the Philippines), and will compete in the Miss Earth pageant in Indonesia also in October.
Liliana Santacruz will represent the country in Miss Continente Americano in Ecuador next October, while Nadia Servian will compete in the Miss Bikini International pageant in Tianjin, China, in August.

Alejandra Fretes is going to be kicked out of the Pageant for being pregnant 2 time and aborting the fetus. (Hospital Records show the facts) Also she is being brought up on Criminal Defamation charges in Paraguay filed on September 2012.

Well Paraguay has produced amazing winners,that gain ground in the swimsuit competition and stand out because of their elegance and catwalk: Yanina and Lourdes were awarded and if you see most of the guaranies who take part in beuty pageants receive good feedback and some place them as potential semifinalits. Egni did well in MW 2010 hopefully she will do better (but with Mr Trump you never know)last year in MU Alba glowed but did not place and in 2010 and y 2009 Johanna dn Mareike were surprising at the preliminary competition…good look paraguayas
GB, I have a question. Last year, Nicole Huber won Miss Mundo Paraguay 2011 and both competed in Miss Word and Miss Earth and now she was crowned Miss International Paraguay 2012. Does it mean that the reigning queen in Paraguay can compete in the following year without relinquishing her title?

egni wasn;t really stunning in miss world 2010,but now she is looking like a sexy bombshell,paraguay world is not bad but latinas miss world 2012 are weak so she has some chance.

It’s like she has some surgery done . But most of the contestants competing in both miss world and miss universe have been under surgery . Only a few of them are a hundred pourcents natural
MOST have not…..it is mostly just the candidates from Latin America who have. The very large majority of Asian, European and African delegates are completely natural.
