Miss Latin America in the World 2012 took place in Mexico, and the winner was Miss Guatemala, Georgina Pimentel. Georgina is 24 years old and works as a model in Guatemala City.
The 1st runner-up was Miss Portugal, Puerto Rico was the 2nd runner-up, Uruguay 3rd, and Colombia 4th.
Over 30 countries represented by women from their Latin communities participated in the pageant.
