Student Karisa Sukamto, 18, was crowned Miss World Singapore 2012 by last year’s winner May Hsu at the Orchid Country Club on June 27th. Ms Michelle Koh and Ms Sarah Noble, both 18, took the second and third spots respectively.
Ms Sukamto, standing 160 cm in height, will head for the Miss World 2012 finals in Ordos, Inner Mongolia, on Aug 18. Straits Times
