  1. Jessica is beautiful, but she will never win any title until she loosens up. she always seems to stiff….and at the pageant her hair was not great…she could have done so much better…she also needed a different dress for her tone. Michelle even though her dress was not so great it brought the best of her…..she stood out …..I love Jessica…but she needs to be herself…that is all….I felt really bad for her…cause she has been trying for a while and she deserved it as much as Michelle…

    Good luck Michelle…..

  2. Alejandro Gaga says:

The 1st runner-up, Jessica Santiago, previously placed 2nd runner-up at the Miss Puerto Rico Universe 2011 pageant. Jessica was also a finalist in cycle 12 of America’s Next Top Model. Obviously I was rooting for Jessica and I was extremely disappointed when she lost to Michelle.

    • She should try for Miss Puerto Rico again. If she wins, it is straight to Miss Universe. Going for a Miss USA state title means she have to win Miss USA, a major hurdle. Does she have to win a local title to participate in Miss PRU?

  3. beautiful girl, excellent dress, and fabulous show !!!!

  4. SHE WILL FOR SURE MAKE A DIFFERENCE. SHE IS THE MOST BEAUTIFUL GIRL FROM FLORIDA SINCE CLO CABRERA THAT WAS 1 RUNNER UP TO MISS USA IN 1987 AND WAS THE USA REPRESENTATIVE AT MISS WORLD 1987, ALSO FROM CUBAN DESCENT.

MICHELL I KNOW U WILL READ THIS: TWO THINGS YOU NEED TO DO TO WIN MISS USA … LOOSE AT LEAST 10LBS AND DEDICATE MORE TIME TO THE RUNWAY…LET YOURSELF GO…..POSTURE…..TAKE IT FROM ME I HAVE BEEN JUDGING LOCAL PAGEANTS FOR A LONG TIME. YOU WILL GO VERY FAR…JUST DO THOSE 2 THINGS…YOUR INNOCENSE IS YOUR BEST ATTRIBUTE…DON’T LOOSE THAT. I GAVE A FEW TIPS TO LISETTE 2 YEARS AGO…SHE DID NOT LISTEN…ONLY # 16….SHE COULD HAVE GONE MUCH MORE..SHE’S ALSO A BEAUTIFUL GIRL AND HAD THE BEST RUNWAY…SHE WAS AWESOMEEEEEEEEEEEEE…..BUT…..WELL I GUESS SHE KNOWS WHAT HAPPENED….

MICHELLE, WISH THE BEST AT MISS USA….QUE DIOS TE BENDIGA!!!!

    • Actually, Angelia Savage at Miss USA 1997 had a good chance of winning the crown: she was leading the night, winning swimsuit and evening gown until the judges’ question. She came in fourth, edge out by a narrow margin by Brooke Lee, who went on to win Miss USA AND Miss Universe.

If there was only a top 5 that year (and the pageant return to a top 5 the next year), Brandi Sherwood would have been cut out of the running and Angelia would have made the Final 3 in 3rd place.

  5. Beautiful.

  6. I like her, she will do well at Miss USA 2013. Florida has never won a Miss USA.

  7. Excellent choice, she was by far the most deserving girl :)

  8. she is stunning

  9. Beautiful but i think she should have a better dress.

  10. She looks awsome….
