Zevallos, Paredes, Mejia and Vertiz
Cindy Mejia (23, from Lima) and Melissa Paredes (20, from Callao) were crowned Miss Peru Universe and Miss Peru World respectively during the finals of the Miss Peru 2012 beauty competition held at the Real Felipe fortress in Callao.
Cindy Mejia, who stands 1.74 m in height, will represent Peru in the Miss Universe competition in December; while Melissa Paredes will travel to Bali, Indonesia, for the Miss World 2013 contest.
The beauties were crowned by Natalie Vertiz (Peru Universe 2011) and Giuliana Zevallos (Peru World 2012).
20 women competed in the annual event, organized by Tito Paz Eventos.
People, it’s sure that Nicole Faveron will compete in MU12. She confirmed it on Facebook.

Cindy Mejia is gorgeous. I hope that she is really going to MU 2012 this December (not Nicole Faveron). Natalie Vertiz looks so lovely in the photo. It’s still hard to believe that she didn’t make the cut for MU 2011. Total injustice. Maybe Cindy will be luckier.

the Fourth and the third runner up were the queens ones!!! the other two wiinner are really woman for advertising of a beer or clothes etc but not for beauty pageants

These two look like twins, and Ms. Trinidad and Tobago looks different in every picture she takes. She got a mega body. But my money is still on Checz Republic. There is no stopping her. If she doesn’t win, this is not about beauty. The competition will be for the other spots, not hers.

I agree… the winners could pass as identical twins… I wish they were styled differently, especially the hair and white gowns… Congratulations!!
Not bad. The Latinas are always outstanding. But, the Africans, if they are not coming to win, they are definitely coming to stand out and to see who will be the best among them. They mean business. For me, so far Ms. Chec Republic, got this wrapped up hands down. She is an unstoppable blonde. The only competition she has is Ms. Guadelope. South Sudan is also outstanding.
