Tsakana Nkandi (22) from Windhoek was crowned Miss Namibia 2012 during a glittering event held at the Country Club Resort and Casino on August 4th.
15 contestants competed in the annual pageant, where Monique Peters was crowned 2nd runner-up, and Patricia Hanstein was named 1st runner-up. Ottilie Ambata won the Miss Photogenic award, and Claudia Halpya was voted Miss Personality.
Standing 179 cm tall, Tsakana is expected to represent Namibia at the upcoming Miss Universe pageant, to be held in a date and place yet to be confirmed; and in the Miss World 2013 competition in Bali, Indonesia.
I guess they can’t constantly crown a white girl for Namibia so the most deserving one can’t win.
2nd runner up is the prettiest!
Just because she’s white?
