Greta Mikalauskytė (19), from Siauliai, has been chosen to represent Lithuania at the Miss Universe 2012 competition to be held in December. Greta, standing 174 m tall, was the 1st runner-up at the Miss Lithuania competition held earlier this year.
According to the report, published by lrytas.lt, Greta will travel to the United States in December to take part in the international competition.
It is the first time Lithuania competes in Miss Universe.
She is absolutely adorable.
I believe she will be one of the semifinalists. She’s beautiful yes, but MUO is known to give opportunities to newcomers.
I pray she will look like that at Miss Universe. So many titleholders looked so breathtaking at their national pageants and when they get to MU, they became overdone and over processed and lost their spark as a result.
So bad they crowned the wrong girl and left the two much better girls be runners-up. I hope they send Egle to Miss International.

What happened to the Miss Lithuania Universe I’ve been seeing on web sites? She was my favorite for the crown, if a crown is given out at all in 2012.
