Raquayyah Boyer (20) was crowned Miss Guyana Universe 2012 during the annual competition held at the Princess International Hotel in Providence. The 1.76 m beauty will represent the South American country at the 2012 Miss Universe finals to be held December 11th.
The 1st runner-up was Nikita Barker, and the 2nd runner-up was Sadhna Yunus. Nakeshia Alexander and Fayedha King were 3rd and 4th runner-ups, respectively.
Miss Universe Leila Lopes traveled to Guyana to crown the new titleholder.

nikita barker was my first choice but i was worried about her lay back attitude during the live intelligence segment and was not surprised when she did not delivered sufficiently during the final question causing the crown to fall from her grasp..what the ms guyana committee should do is work with her for ms universe 2013 instead of holding a pageant..with excellent training she will shine at ms universe 2013..mean while i must congratulate our eventual winner and wish the very best hoping that she shines and prove the doubting thomases wrong..to the ms guyana committee please ensure that she has the best outfits for the pageant..to all those designers please give her your support let her market your products to the world

Raquayya have a body and look more suited for runway modeling. Niketa would have been the perfect choice, she have the typical miss universe looks and vibe. Anyhoo good luck to the new miss Guyana universe.
