Avionne Mark, a 23-year old student at the University of the West Indies, was crowned Miss Trinidad and Tobago Universe 2012 during an event held at the National Academy for the Performing Arts (NAPA) in Port of Spain on October 21st.
The runner-ups were Jessica Didier, Sarah Waddell, Ria Da Costa and Mauricia De Peza.
A professional model, Avionne stands 174 cm in height and will represent Trinidad & Tobago at the 2012 Miss Universe pageant to be held in Las Vegas, USA, December 19th.
Avionne is a good pick. But as you know the Miss Universe only add a coloured evrry

Well, I must say Avionne was my choice out of the pickings they had. She has the most modelesque body of the entire group. There were other girls that were prettier, but did not have the body and those that had the body, but not the face. She was the best package. But I must say, she turned out to be a real West Indian beauty. Can’t wait to see her picture up on the board with the other ladies. Lets see how she stacks up then because right now, I’m down with Miss Singapore, Mauritus, Aruba and now that India has switched, it may stand a chance. But I like Singapore. Its going to take Africa a long time before they find another South Sudan, so I’m not expecting too much from them. So, I’m hanging with the Asians.

Was not what i expected tbh.. She wasnt even in my top 3… However this picture does her major justice and she probably did perform well on the night.. But having seen some footage, excellent choice. And ofc Trinidad and Tobago usually has the most impressive and prepared black (or any other ) beauties.
