It is confirmed: The 5th edition of the Miss Supranational beauty pageant will travel this September to Minsk, capital of Belarus. The final will take place at the Sports Hall in Minsk on Friday, September 6th. The contestants will arrive in the city on August 17th, and will travel to various spots around the country as well as attending some special activities. After four successful years in Poland, the Grand Slam competition now begins to take place internationally.
Miss Supranational 2013 Minsk is a joint collaboration between World Beauty Association, Nowa Scena and ONT TV (Obshchenatsional’noe Televidenie, local organizers) The announcement took place in Minsk on January 16th with the presence of local and international press, and the four Miss Supranational titleholders: Oksana Morya (2009, Ukraine), Karina Pinilla (2010, Panama), Monika Lewczuk (2011, Poland) and Ekaterina Buraya (2012, Belarus).
The Sports Palace in Minsk with a capacity of 5.000 will host the Miss Supranational 2013 finals on September 6th
The four Supranational titleholders up to date: Morya (2009), Buraya (2012), Pinilla (2010) and Lewczuk (2011)
The final of Miss Supranational for Sweden,Denmark and Iceland will be on the 8th of june where 34 finalists will be competing omboard the cruise Silja line from Stockholm to Helsinki .

Miss Supranational cannot simply beat Miss Earth because of its important advocacy which is helping in saving Mother Nature. I suggest that Miss Supranational will challenge Miss International and we will see if they can beat it.

I think it is the very first international pageant to be held at another country away from its birth country in a short period of time surpassing the other Grandslam pageants and other non-Grandslam like Miss Intercontinental and Miss Earth. Am I right?
Are you sure that Miss Earth is not a Grandslam Pageant? Look at the prestigious and well – established national pageants like Miss Venezuela,Ceska Miss, Femina Miss India, Miss Panama, Putere Indonesia, etc.,they include Miss Earth as an official title. Not like Miss Supranational and Miss Tourism Queen International in which their candidates are only appointed or designated.
After what we saw regarding how open it is to correpution, we will be surprised if such pageants will keep on working with this pageant.

It’s not considered by many actually. Nobody has ever heard of Miss Supranational but non-pageant fans know of Miss Universe and Miss World. And to a lesser extent, Miss International.
We consider it and that is more than enough.
