Miss Indonesia is a strong contender for the crown. mark my word! She is beautiful. Her legs are adorable with a stunning catwalk (dubbed as the “Komodo walk” by the locals)! I hope Puteri Indonesia will train her more well. She will be on top! Together with the future BB Pilipinas winner this April 2013! I cant wait to know what catwalk name of the future Miss PH will be called! Miss India too will do well!

Lovely winner. And I see that they had changed the crown design to resemble more of the new MU crown. Before that, the Puteri Indonesia crown bore resemblance to the old Mikimoto-style crown. I wonder if the change is spontaneously done by the Puteri Indonesia Organization themselves or if it’s mandated by the MUO.
Speaking of which, why do MU need to change crown so many times??? A change is good every once in a while, but do they really need to “upgrade” their crown every 3-4 years??? It’s just a crown, not an iPhone.

Well, despite preferring the 2012 MU edition to have had a Philippines-Australia-USA-Venezuela-Brazil placement, Miss USA won. So what if she is shorter than Miss Indonesia? Its the whole package that you have to think of and not merely the height of a beauty queen.
I like the fact that Olivia is shorter but she is far from the whole package and did not deserve to win Miss USA or Universe. She wasn’t strong is SS, EG or interview and so many girls were stronger.
I completely agree Neil. What does height have to do with anything? As shown by this picture, Olivia brought back elegance and sophistication to the pageant. It was becoming to slutty with see-through gowns, gowns that were bathing suits was a wrap. Olivia is talented and intelligent, and she shows women that you can be these things and beautiful.
Miss Indonesia looks like a promising contender.

It seems like Miss Universe 2013 pageant will be super exciting. Venezuela and a few other countries have already crowned high quality winners. Philippines’ delegates are super strong as well. I heard Panama and China are very interested….but let’s see what happens…

Facially, Olivia still doesn’t cut it. All she is is a pretty girl. She’s not beautiful. So many people say her beauty is extraordinary but I disagree and her beauty is ordinary at best. I’ve seen more beautiful girls at the mall to be honest.
The pageant world doesn’t reflect reality or normative physical traits. To suggest that a woman who is 5’5′ isn’t a “grown woman” is insulting, particularly to those of us who are even more petite. Excuse her for got being 5’8″, but not all women are. In fact, most women aren’t. Besides, who are you to judge a woman by her height?

The crown looks very much the same. I hope South East Asian Countries will do well in Miss Universe. Philippines have done exceptionally well during the past 3 years. I want to see Indonesia, Malaysia and Singapore in the semis.
