The winners of the “Big 2″ – Miss World and Miss Universe, the two most prestigious beauty pageants on the globe, are expected to attend the Miss Russia 2013 contest, on March 2nd. The new Miss Russia will compete on both international competitions. Miss World will happen on Seprtember 28, in Jakarta, Indonesia, while Miss Universe has not yet released a venue or date for its 2013 edition.
It will be the first time that China’s Wenxia Yu, Miss World 2012, and USA’s Olivia Culpo, Miss Universe 2012, will be seen together.
Miss Russia is the most traditional beauty competition in Russia. In addition to representing Russia in Miss World and Miss Universe, the winner wins a USD 100.000 cash prize. The 1st and 2nd runner-ups win college scholarships. The Miss Russia organization claims that its titleholder wears the most expensive crown in the pageant world, worth over USD 1 million.

alas! if these happened it would be great inspiration to the young women in russia since the are both empowered women around the world and in the universe sense of respect, sense of unity not only the biggest countries in the globe such a great to see both of them despite of so many schedules they have had they also have time to meet in one occasion. I’ve understood You had meant the same event with actual Misses World and Universe. But in that comment I just wanted to add about their being in the jury of Miss Russia’13 in comparison with the last visits.
The pictures are weak
There are pictures from Miss Russia elections (MW’07 and MU’07 posing together with the newly crowned Miss Russia’07 behind the scenes;MW’08 and MU’08 standing together on the runway in the final of Miss Russia’09).Doesn’t it mean that they “met in the same event”?If not, what they did?
The article refers that this is the first time both queens FROM 2012 will be together. We know that both have attended in 2007, 2008 and 2009.

Marco thats was not the only time it happen… after 2007 in Mexico it happened again in 2009 when Dayana Mendoza (Miss Universe 2008) and Ksenia Sukinova (Miss World 2008) were together at the Miss Russia 2009 pageant!… it was really memorable because both of them were gorgeous girls!
I thought Ksenia Miss World outshined Dayana in beauty but Dayana was more outgoing in personality.

In my 1st comment I just wanted to emphasize the difference between this and the past visits of MW & MU to Russia and didn’t want to pick on the writer. So I shared with fans with the new detail of their being in the jury of Miss Russia’13 , that hadn’t been said in the text. If it doesn’t “enjoy” you – your problems.
It is not the 1st time,when both actual MW and MU visit the Miss Russia contest. Earlier it was in 2006,2007,2009.But this time they are announced as judges of the occasion,that was not practised in the past.
