I agree with some that Ms. Mereiles had done something to the final results…
But the final question is not fair to the non-english speaker delegates since their time is not enough…bad idea miss earth org.
Hold on a moment here PokPok!! If you don’t like the winner I respect that as beauty is a matter of opinion but for you to say that the results were manipulated because a former Miss Brazil/Earth was the chair person is just disgusting!!!

miss brazil does`nt deserve the miss earth crown her answer was really nothing compare to the answer of miss philippines and miss venezuela. or should i say she should`nt be part of the top four because some of the girl`s who made it to the four like martinque was far better than miss brazil.

…Miss Earth 2009….. i am not happy for Miss Brazil winning the crown…i guess scoring was manipulated by former Miss Earth from Brazil Priscilla who happened to be the chair person…. better yet Miss martinique wins the crown…that lady is much more deserving of the crown and title…. sorry to say…the whole pageant presentation is a far cry from best pageants ever…Miss Universe and Miss World… the Miss earth 2009 presentation is much more of a gay beauty pageant…very poor production and presentation and the 3 hosts….nothing to say but better luck next year !!
The exclusion of Miss Cuba in the semifinals was very surprising. Brazil deserved to be crowned.
Northern Ireland and Singapore surprised many people. Cuba and USA, 2 clear front runners are missing in the top 16. Cuba’s problem is probably her interview. USA’s downfall is a complete enigma to me. Maybe both of them are not that great sans make up.
I was afraid that Philippines would win and the nitwits in the pageant world will crucify Miss Earth. I really felt bad that I was praying that Philippines would screw her answer. Alas!!! Philippines is superb in the interview competition. I was prepared to see a back-to-back win. However, it is Brazil’s time to shine again. Congratulations to the new Miss Earth!!!

Surprisingly, there are 13 out of 30 candidates passed on this Leaderboard.
and also there are 3 surprising candidates that aren’t on the list: N. Ireland, S. Africa and Singapore.
I congratulate the ladies who made in the top 16 and congrats to Miss Brazil.
We do not count our Possibilities when we do our counting, so it is 13 out of the 24. WTF happened to the ANNOUNCED 18-12-8-4 from Carousel. The pageant gets exciting and powerpacked each year, and as always, so screwy and disorganized.
i somehow knew that cuba will not make it….but miss usa!! how come she was not even in the top 16? O.O she was my fav all along!
anyways congrats miss brazil! second brazilian to win miss earth!
and congrats to miss india being a semifinalist
philippines was first runner up….i already knew that!
and miss martinique was a nice surprize
overall….i am NOT happy with the result!
