Miss Tahiti 2008

Papeete, TAHITI - Miss Tahiti 2008 was crowned last Saturday night, the 26th of April, in the gardens of the Sheraton Hotel Tahiti.

Hinatea Boosie, 20, student of Psychology, was crowned Miss Tahiti 2008 (photo, left). She will represent Tahiti at the Miss France 2009 contest in Le Puy du Fou, France, on December 6.

Vaihere Merpaut, 19, is her first runner-up and will represent Tahiti at the Miss Earth 2008 contest, in the Philippine.

Manavarii Ravetupu, 21, is the second runner-up and will go to Miss Tourism Queen International 2009. Tahiti will debute at Miss Tourism Queen International next year.

Vahinetua Flaccadori, 18, Miss Heiva 2008, will represent Tahiti at Miss Asia Pacific 2008.
