Miss Philippines Earth 2008

Manila, PHILIPPINES - Last night the Crowne Plaza Galleria Manila staged the 2008 Miss Philippines Earth contest, an event broadcasted to the entire country.

The winner was Karla Paula Henry, Miss Cebu City, a 21-year-old Tourism graduate who elier this year also tried her luck and had no successes at the Binibining Pilipinas 2008 pageant (Miss Philippines World, Universe and International).

She will represent the Philippines at Miss Earth 2008.

The 1st runner-up or "Miss Air" was Razel Triff Eguia of Dipolog. Razel was also crowned Miss Tourism Queen Philippines 2009 and will represent her country at Miss Tourism Queen International 2009, in China.
