Miss Singapore Universe

Singapore, SINGAPORE - Shenise Wong, 26, 1.73 m-tall, is the new Miss Singapore Universe. She edged out Malvina Kang, 1st runner-up, and Gayati Shunmugam, 2nd runner-up, to walk away with the crown.

The other finalists were Alyssa Kokilah, Mandy Soong, Geraldine Quek, Jade Yip and Valerie Lim.

Shenise is a pageant veteran who has already participated in Miss Asia Pacific (1999), Miss International (2002) and Miss World (2005). In July she will represent her country at Miss Universe, in Vietnam.
