Karen Schwarz earns the right to represent Peru

LIMA, April 4th – Karen Schwarz, a 24-year old professional model who represented Amazonas, was crowned Miss Peru Universe 2009 during an event held in Lima on April 4th. Karen is 1.78 m tall and will represent Peru at the Miss Universe 2009 pageant in the Bahamas next August.

The 1st runner-up was Miss Ayacucho, Jessica Shialer, who will compete in Miss Earth 2009 in the Philippines; and the 2nd runner-up was Miss Ica, Sofia del Pino.
