Miss Bahamas World 2009
Winner will represent the Bahamas in South Africa

CABLE BEACH, June 2 – 17 year-old Joanna Brown from Grand Bahama was crowned Miss Bahamas World 2009 at the Rainforest Theatre, in Cable Beach.

She stands 1.83m and will represent the Bahamas in Miss World 2009 in Johannesburg, South Africa.

First runner-up is Llatetra Laing, who will go to Miss Tourism Queen International 2009, in China.

Second runner-up is Dashinique Poiter.
