Winner will try to become China's first ever Miss Universe

SHANGHAI, June 20 – Miss Universe China 2009 is Jing Yao Wang, 19 years old, 1.78 m-tall. She won the title earlier this Saturday, in Beijing, and will now get ready to represent her country in the Miss Universe pageant, which will take place in the Bahamas.

The runner-ups were:

1st runner-up: Yu Jun Liu
2nd runner-up: Mei Qi Li
