Moldavian beauty beats 49 contestants for the coveted title

JESOLO, June 27 – Diana Curmei, Miss Moldova, was crowned Miss Italia nel Mondo 2009 during an vent held at the Palazzo del Turismo in Jesolo on Saturday, June 27th. The 18-year old student stands 1.76 m tall and beat 49 other contestants for the title.

The 1st runner-up was Miss Romania, Elena Simona Lungu (22). Completing the Top 6 were the contestants from Argentina, Indonesia, United States, and Argentina (Buenos Aires).
