Avalon-Chanel Weyzig will compete in The Bahamas

AMSTERDAM, June 27 – Avalon-Chanel Weyzig, a 20-year old model, was crowned Miss Universe Netherlands 2009 during an event held on June 27th.

The 1.69 m beauty will now represent her country at the Miss Universe 2009 pageant in Nassau, Bahamas, next August.

The runner-ups were Stephanie Bos and Stevie Hartmann. This year's contest was organized by former Miss Netherlands Kim Kotter.
