Norway elects beauties for Miss World and Miss Universe

OSLO, March 28 –Sara Skjoldnes, a 17-year old student from Skien, was chosen Froken Norge (Miss Norway) World, and 24-year old Eli Landa of Stavanger was chosen Froken Norge Universe during an event held March 28th in Oslo.

Sara, 1.70 m tall, will represent Norway at the Miss World 2009 contest in Johannesburg next December; Eli, who stands 1.76 m tall, will compete at the Miss Universe 2009 pageant in the Bahamas next August.
