Winner to represent Slovakia at Miss Universe in The Bahamas

BRATISLAVA, March 28 - Denisa Mendrejová (Photo, center), a 23-year old student of Economics, was crowned Miss Universe Slovak Republic 2009 at an event held in Bratislava on March 29th.

Denisa, a model, stands 1.75 m tall and will represent her country at the Miss Universe 2009 pageant in Paradise Island, Bahamas, next August.

The 1st runner-up was Lea Sindlerova (L). She will represent Slovakia at the Miss Earth 2009 in Manila, Philippines, in November.

The 2nd runner-up was Marcela Sevcikova (R).
