Elham Wagdi will compete in the Miss Universe pageant in the Bahamas

CAIRO, May 26 – Elham Wagdi, a 25-year old dancer, painter, and aerobics instructor from Cairo, was chosen as Miss Egypt Universe 2009 during a casting call held last Monday, as informed by the organizing agency Face 2 Face.

Elham, who stands 1.75 m tall, will represent Egypt at the Miss Universe 2009 pageant in the Bahamas next August.

She was 1st runner-up at the Miss Egypt 2005 contest and has also represented the country internationally in events like Miss Earth and Miss Intercontinental.
