After 49 long years Myanmar crowns a national beauty queen

YANGON - Myanmar, a country formerly known as Burma located in South East Asia, has elected an official beauty queen after 49 years. The winner was the lovely Swe Zin Phyo (photo), and it has not been confirmed if she will compete internationally.

The last Miss Myanmar, actually Miss Burma, was Myint Myint Khins, who competed in Miss Universe 1961.
