Nuestra Belleza México 2010

SALTILLO, COAHUILA, Sep. 25 - For a second consecutive year, the Nuestra Belleza Mexico crown went to the contestant from Jalisco, Karin Ontiveros. The 22-year old student from Amatitan, was crowned by the reigning Miss Universe, Jimena Navarrete also of Jalisco.

Karin, who stands 1.80 m in height, will represent Mexico at the Miss Universe 2011 pageant to be held next June.

Meanwhile, Nuestra Belleza Nuevo Leon was crowned Nuestra Belleza Mundo Mexico 2011. Her name is Cynthia Alejandra De la Vega Oates. The 18-year old top model stands 1.80 m tall, and will compete in the Miss World 2011 pageant to be held later next year.

NB Aguascalientes, Gabriela Palacio, was named Nuestra Belleza Suplente and will represent the country in case any of the two winners are unable to fulfill their duties. She is also expected to represent Mexico at the Miss International 2010 contest to be held in Chengdu, China, November 7.

The remaining runner-ups were Cohauila (Cecilia Flores) and Distrito Federal (Lucia del Cueto).
