Miss Ukraine 2010

Catharina Zacharchenko from Odessa (C) was crowned Miss Ukraine 2010 yesterday night at the annual Miss Ukraine contest held at Kiev's main concert hall, Ukrania Palace.

The right to receive the Miss Ukraine crown, made of diamonds and valued at more than $250,000 was bestowed on Catharina by an all star jury that included socialite Paris Hilton, actor Jean Claude VanDamme and actress Eva Longoria.

Catharina will now represent Ukraine at Miss World 2010 to be held in Sanya, China.

Natalia Sitnikova was crowned 1st runner up and Julia Strategopulo was 2nd runner up.

All 19 previous Miss Ukraine winners, including 1998 winner Vlada Prokaeva, 2001 winner Oleksandra Nikolaenko, 1997 winner Ksenia Kuzmenko and 2008 winner Iryna Zhuravska attended the event.
