19-year old Teodora Marcic comes from Novi Sad, Serbia's second largest city, with a population of 300,000 habitants.

I like all kinds of dancing, I consider myself a very good dancer. I also work out a lot, I like swimming and running. I enjoy working as a model, and as a television presenter. Music: I love listening to all kinds of music: Classical, pop, rock, dance…. Everything with good rhythm for dancing! Movies: I like most love-story films, good comedies and dramas because I'm a very sensitive person. For example, I like 'TITANIC'. Television: MTV, VH1 – because of the good music, Fashion TV, Discovery and the History Channel.  Books: I like to read biography books. At the moment I'm reading a book about the life of Edith Piaf. Heroes:  I admire people who help others. My hero is Oprah Winfrey.

ABOUT ME: I'm very persistent, patient, joyful and always with a positive spirit. My best qualities are my education, strong personality and charisma. Also, I'm talented in acting and I'm good imitator.

What do you expect from this year's contest?
I'm ready to win, or the very least, to enter the Top Ten. In addition to that, I expect to have a good time, make new friends and lots of fun!

Have you learned anything about Mexico?
Of course! Mexico is a beautiful country. I have learned a lot about its culture, tradition, and very interesting history. Before I travel to a country, I like reading about it in advance to learn as much as I can.

What is your Charity Auction Gift? Can you describe it?
My charity auction gift is a white tablecloth made of crochet. It was hand-made by my grandmother! It is very beautiful and I am emotionally attached to it, because my grandmother made it specially for the Miss Universe pageant.

What about your National Costume?
It's a stylized Serbian national costume. I do not want to talk about its details, but I'm very proud to wear it. You will have to wait and see me wearing it on stage if you want to see how beautiful it is!

What is playing in your CD Player / IPod / MP3 right now?
The latest mix of House and R&B music. I adore Nelly Furtado and of course, Jennifer Lopez!

Funniest or Most Embarrassing thing ever happened to you?
All my embarrassing moments are usually connected with situations where I like somebody.

Because of this, people are always trying to leave the best possible impression; doesn't always work!

Most interesting thing ever happened?
I traveled recently to Tripoli, the capital of Libya. The most beautiful girls from Serbia and from Montenegro participated in the first fashion show ever held in the history of Libya; and I was one of them!

President Muammar al-Gaddafi organized a reception for all the models and each of us received a special gift: A golden necklace and earrings with brilliants, from President al-Gaddafi personally.

I also visited Sabratha, an ancient city in the coast (inscribed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1982). This trip will always be one of my special memories!

Which country would you most like to visit?

Definitely, Cuba. It is a very special country. It's people are materially very poor, but they are strong and rich in spirit.

Their life is full of music, dancing, they are really genuine. Cubans have great energy that you can feel in the atmosphere.

If you want to support me and root for me, do it as loud as you can! It contributes to my self-confidence.

I am a natural and relaxed person, but I am always ready for fun, amusement and of course, party time!

Thoughts First Waking Up: When I wake up, my first thought is that it's a new day, thus, a new day of success. The first thing I do everyday is looking at myself in the mirror and say "Good morning ! Today it's a beautiful day!". I am a very positive person, full of energy.
Your Best Physical Feature: Being as natural as I can. It determines your goals and dreams in your life, and it reflects in your physique.
Pepsi or Coke: I don't drink Pepsi and Coke, but Coca-Cola has very interesting TV commercials!
Have you ever been in Love: Yes. My every day is full of love! I love everything that surrounds me and I'm always amorous.
Are you vain?: A little bit. I like to try new things and I can accept advice like “you can do that much better…” but I do not like it when someone's telling me negative things the whole time!
