Blogs are the new internet mania. Dozens of pageant-related blogs have come to life in recent months, and GB did all the research for you, going over several of those to bring you the very best among the best. You will be able to follow Miss Universe, learn about its history, and see some incredible images. Here they are, in no particular order, GB's Top 4 blogs' picks:
Miss Memorabilia (Brazil) - Created and fed by pageant-experts Alberto Dubal and Arthur Coelho, it brings amazing photos from the past (some of them are very rare), current pageants' coverage, and well-written critiques and historical facts. If you don't speak Portuguese, the use of an internet translation service is worth it!
Ines Ligron's Blog (France/Japan) - She moved from one side of the planet (France) to the other (Japan) to bring Japanese pageants back to live in a brilliant and revolutionary way. Her girls are sexy, trendy, without being plastic (in all senses of the word...). Her contestants' adventures and publications are all in her blog, as well as Ines' interesting comments about pageants in general.
Beauty School (USA) - It used to be a fabulous website, which pageant fans missed for years! Back in the form of a blog, Beauty School is frequently updated with tidbits from the past, and Miss U08's hot new additions, like "The Pick of the Day".
HJ Blog (Puerto Rico) - Based in Puerto Rico, Hector Joaquin's Blog brings tons of current photos from the world of pageantry, with massive Miss Universe coverage in Spanish, English, and occasionally in other languages!
Bookmark them, and have fun!
