Describe yourself in one or two sentences.

I am a very energetic woman, a true go-getter. I am very extroverted and also a very happy person. I put a lot of passion into everything I do, perhaps that's why I've been able to realize all my dreams and goals in life so far.

Which three songs must be in your I-Pod?

- The Story, by Brandy Carlyle, because the first time I heard it it gave me strength;
- One, by U2, it hits close to home;
- Runaway Train, by Soulasylum, because it caused a huge impact on the world by raising awareness of missing children.

Tell us about your “Beauty With a Purpose” Project.

We have recently started supporting AIDS prevention campaigns in Portugal. It is still a very serious matter and I intend to keep on using my title to promote it, especually telling the young generation to "hold their horses" and using preservatives if they decide to have sex. A "crazy moment" could mean a "lost life".

What has been your most memorable rainy day?

In 2002 I was in a terrible car accident. We went off the road and fell into a river. I really thought I was going to die, but I felt I had my guardian angel with me, and he actually helped me getting out of the car before drowning. It rained a lot, which helped causing the accident, and certainly I will never forget that rainy day...

If you were invited to participate in the next NY Fashion Week, which fashion designer you would like to dress you?

I would be honored to be dressed by Michael Kors.

Tell us about the nightlife in your hometown.

Lisbon is a very cosmopolitan city, always busy and buzzing with life. There are several nightspots in town, my favorites are the ones located at the historical center, an old neighborhood, where there are no cars and there are lots of great restaurants, bars and clubs. There's also the river side, where you can enjoy a nice drink with a beautiful view.

What has been your weirdest dream? Describe it.

My strangest dream ever was one that I could jump off buildings and would do it over and over again. I felt like Spider Woman, or something like that (she laughs)!

Where will the Miss World judges score you highest: interview, swimsuit or gown presentation?

I hope to get good scores all around, but maybe my highest will be in the interview, because of my outgoing personality.

What message you would like to send to the other Miss World contestants?

I wish all the contestants the best of luck, and may their beauty be put to good use!

Special thanks to Roberta Bacaltchuc and the new Miss World Portugal Organization!
