Miss World 2017: Nigeria Wins Top Model
Ugochi Ihezue (20) from Nigeria has won the Miss World Top Model competition and booked her place in the top 40 of Miss World 2017. It's the first time for Nigeria to take the coveted Top Model prize. Former winners of this prize Zhang Zhilin from China, Ksenia Sukhinova from Russia, Megan Young from the Philippines and Mireia Lalaguna from Spain have gone on to also take home the Miss World crown.
Miss Thailand, Patlada Kulphaktanaphat, finished in second place. Miss Croatia, Tea Mlinarić, and Miss People's Republic of China, Guan Siyu, finished in third and fourth places respectively. The top 30 were completed by the delegates from Bosnia and Herzegovina, Brazil, Colombia, Cote d'Ivoire, Dominican Republic, El Salvador, France, Guadeloupe, Guinea, Honduras, India, Indonesia, Israel, Kenya, Korea, Mexico, Mongolia, Montenegro, Nepal, Panama, Poland, Russia, Slovenia, Spain, Ukraine and Venezuela.
Miss Indonesia, Achintya Nilsen, was presented with the Designer Dress Award.
