INDONESIA MAKES SIGNIFICANT MOVE WHILE VENEZUELA REMAINS ON TOP

After points from 2007 were discarded and the ones from 2017 added, there were a few significant changes in GB´s Miss International Ranking. Though Venezuela remained on top, widening the point difference to Philippines, which also remained in the 2nd position, Japan jumped from 5th to 3rd after this year´s 4th runner-up placement, while Thailand entered the Top 5 (4th place).

After winning its first ever Miss International and second Grand Slam title (the first was Miss Grand International, just one year ago), Indonesia joined the Top 10 Miss International powers, jumping from 16th to 8th place. Also joining the Top 10 is Ecuador, now 9th, up two notches.

Curaçao, 2nd in this year´s pageant and previously scoreless in our ranking, in now 24th. It was Curaçao´s best Grand Slam result in history, tied with another 2nd place, but in Miss Universe, back in a distant 1968.

Laos had an amazing Miss International debut: Top 8 and already 46th in the ranking.

Chile, Greece and Guadeloupe, lost all their points earned in 2007, and left the ranking.
