Miss Grand International 2017 is about to Start!
The first Grand Slam pageant of the year is about to start! About 80 beauties from all over the globe will be arriving in Vietnam on October 5th and 6th for the fifth edition of Miss Grand International, a competition that gained popularity at the speed of light and that has showed great organization, awesome activities and a high-quality final TV show.
VIETNAM, HOST OF 2017
This year, the competition will be held in various cities around Vietnam, thanks to the support of local partner Lasta Multimedia. The delegates will arrive in Ho Chi Minh City where they will stay for about 4 days, doing pictorials, videos, and the traditional press conference.
Then, the beauties will visit the world-famous Quang Binh province, home to the spectacular Sơn Đoòng Cave. Various activities will take place in this venue including the National Costume competition.

And finally, the MGI tour will take the contestants to the resort island of Phu Quoc, where the preliminaries and finals will be held, as well as the swimsuit competition. The Vinpearl Resort will be in charge of hosting this magnificent competition in its brand new convention center.
THE PRIZES
But it doesn't end there. It has just been announced that one of the prizes for the winner will be living for one year at the Movenpick Ekkamai Residences in Bangkok located in Sukhumvit, one of the city's most exclusive neighborhoods! All this in addition to Miss Grand International's salary of USD 40,000.
It's worth mentioning that the current Miss Grand International, Indonesia's Ariska Putri Pertiwii, has been awarded with the title of "Miss Grand Slam 2016" for her poise, beauty, charisma and remarkable reign working for the contest's official cause, "Stop the War". Congratulations!
