Cece Asuncion Acquires US Miss Supranational Franchise

The Miss Supranational Organization has announced that the well-known Filipino American producer, modeling agency director and television producer, Cece Asuncion, has acquired the rights to select the United States of America's representative for Miss Supranational starting from the 10th edition of the pageant in 2018. 

The United States of America achieved their best result at Miss Supranational in 2014 when Allyn Rose finished in fourth place

Asuncion is best known for producing the documentary What's the T?, which followed the lives of five transgender women from New York and San Fransisco. Apart from being screened at several prestigious film festivals, it also won the Audience Choice Award at the Cinema Diverse Palm Springs International Film Festival. He is also co-owner of Thigh High Productions and was the director of Slay Models, the world's first transgender model agency. Earlier this year, he was invited to act as a judge during the preliminary stages of the Miss Universe competition. One of his next goals will be to take the Miss Supranational franchise to greater heights in the United States.
