Mr World to be held in the Philippines in January 2019

The Miss World Organisation has formally announced that the next edition of Mister World will take place on January 27, 2019 in Manila, Philippines. The contestants will arrive in Manila on January 11 and will spend nearly three weeks in the beautiful archipelago of islands, hosted by the Resorts World group. 

Originally the contest was scheduled to take place in September this year, but the organisation stated that due to an increased demand for national franchises, they have decided to postpone the contest until early 2019. At the press conference attended by the reigning Miss World, Mr World (both from India) and Philippines' National Director, Arnold Vegafria,  the MWO stated that they are expecting more than 100 contestants to battle it out for the Mister World title, currently held by Rohit Khandelwal.
