Miss Supranational to Celebrate 10th Edition in Poland


Warsaw, Poland – August 17, 2018 – Gerhard Parzutka von Lipinski, President of Nowa Scena sp. z o.o., announced today that the final of Miss Supranational 2018 will take place on Friday, December 7th in the beautiful mountain resort of Krynica-Zdroj, Poland.

This year, we will celebrate our 10th anniversary with a very special show in the country where it first began back in 2009. Over the past decade, the Miss Supranational brand has experienced phenomenal growth. The final show is televised in more countries than any other pageant in the world. 

The excitement will be high as we invite back all 9 previous winners of Miss Supranational. Our queens from the Ukraine, Panama, Poland, Belarus, the Philippines, India, Paraguay and Korea will all be featured during the 3-hour extravaganza.

At the conclusion of an exciting evening of glamour, fashion and spectacular entertainment fit only for the world’s most spectacular televised pageant, the reigning Miss Supranational, Jenny Kim of Korea, will crown our 10th titleholder who will represent us as we take our rapid-growing brand into our second decade.


The Miss Supranational Competition was created in 2009 and was held in the beautiful city of Płock, Poland.  The first ever group of contestants came from almost 40 countries around the world, Today, after 9 years, the number has doubled to more than 80 competitors from every continent. Miss Supranational has developed into one of the world’s most prestigious live TV shows. The 2010 and 2011 editions were also broadcasted live via satellite from Plock, while in 2012 the competition moved to Warsaw, he capital city of Poland. In 2013, with interest growing internationally, the pageant travelled for the first time to another country. Minsk, the capital city of Belarus, played host to a spectacular show. Recent editions saw the return of the competition to Poland and the honor went to the city of Krynica–Zdrój. The show’s television audience has grown remarkably quickly and now reaches an audience of more than 600 million television viewers around the world.  Our growing social media presence adds to that number.
