Nine of them would advance to a historic moment: the speech of peace. Misses Grand Rio de Janeiro, Santa Catarina, Maranhão, Pernambuco, Espírito Santo, São Paulo, Minas Gerais, Rio Grande do Sul and Ceará were the chosen ones.

What we saw next was a display of sensitivity and love, with messages that have passed depth and a lot of truth. As the theme of the contest is "Stop War and Violence", during their speeches the candidates touched on issues such as violence against women, blacks and homosexuals and the need to change the attitude of each individual to the evolution of our society. There has been a lot of talk about differences and minorities. They spoke in Portuguese and some also spoke English. They all wore white as a symbol of peace.

Only 5 beautiful girls would go to the final challenge, and the state representatives who accumulated the most points until that moment were:.Espírito Santo, Maranhão, Rio de Janeiro, São Paulo and Minas Gerais.

The final challenge was not an interview, as costumary. Developed in partnership with Instituto Você of Rio de Janeiro, in the final challenge each candidate drew one of the other finalists and, looking into her eyes, spoke about her competitor, imagining her as the winner of the contest. The statements excited the participants and audience present.

The last round of voting determined that Marjorie Marcelle, a nutrition student and model resident of Mooca, a traditional neighborhood in the city of São Paulo, would be the new Miss Grand Brazil. She received the new official crown from the hands of Gabrielle Vilela, Miss Grand Brasil 2018, who also overflowed emotion in her farewell, with testimonials from several important people in her life.
